Volunteers Provides Virtual Open Sign to HV Businesses

Before the coronavirus, owners invited customers to their restaurant or business by hanging a sign on the door that said, ‘Come In We’re Open’.

Since March, the virus has caused a state-wide lockdown to protect people’s health. As a result, those signs had to be turned to the ‘Sorry We’re Closed’ side forcing owners to start a new survival strategy. This includes: curbside pick-up, delivery, reduced store capacity and hours and/or relying solely on online selling.

But how would owners notify the public about the changes?
